Knitted Knockers are a soft knitted breast prosthesis that can be worn immediately after breast surgery. They are washable and knitted with a soft cotton yarn, to the size each woman needs.
Two Visions has teamed up with local volunteer knitting groups and the close knit group from the Jackson Township library to make Knitted Knockers for anyone who needs or requests them. They are free.
We are a distribution center for our local area. We also have copies of the pattern for those who would like to knit them for themselves or someone they know.
Anne McFeely will be giving a talk at the Jackson Library on October 26th at 6:00 p.m. about the Knitted Knockers program. We hope to have some supplies available for people who attend as well as finished Knockers available to take home.
We welcome any donations of soft pima cotton yarn for our knitters.
To request a free set of Knitted Knockers, contact Anne McFeely at 330-704-4515.
